Tell me about your artists.

..How does it work?

.....Email us your best quality high resolution jpeg image of what you would like to have drawn. Make sure to tell us the style you want your image to be drawn (ie. pencil or ink), the size of paper you would like, and any other requests.

.....Once we have the time to review your submission we will send a confirmation of your request and the approximate cost.

.....After your approval, we will require a 10% (fully refundable) desposit to commence working.

.....Unless otherwise instructed, we will take a photograph of your drawing in progress approximately half way to completion and email it to you for approval before drawing the remainder. If you see any changes you would like made, we will gladly take the time to adjust the drawing to your liking.

.....Upon completion, the drawing will be photographed again and emailed with any contributing progress work for your review and approval. Once approved, the customer will be required to pay the remaining 90% of the cost plus a shipping & handling fee.

.....Your drawing will be packaged and sent as soon as full payment is received.

..How do I pay for a portrait?

.....When you are depositing your 10% deposit or paying the remainder at completion, you will be required to send the amount due to info@allureportraiture.com via Paypal service.

.....All information between our customers is strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties. The works created for customers will only be published if concensus is given.

..What is the difference between the Pencil drawings and the Ink & Marker drawings?

.....In a nutshell, the Pencil drawings are realistic while the Ink & Marker drawings are illustratively stylized.

.....PENCIL DRAWINGS - Each drawing is composed in a meduim-soft graphite for a bold and textured look with a range of all values for greater depth and realism.

.....INK & MARKER DRAWINGS - The subject(s) are drawn with linear hatched lines in ink. Clothes and hari are simplified with only an outline and large negative spaces can be filled in solid with black marker. This process renders the most human elements in great detail while lessening any distracting values to attract more attention to the subject in an illustrative style. Although simplified, the drawings can achieve great complexity when tonal values are built up.

..How can I have changes made to my drawing?

.....If there is something you would like to be added to the drawing, email us as soon as possible regarding your request and we will try our best to make any adjustments.

.....Feel free to point out anything you may want to be changed when we send you a photograph of your drawing in progress.

.....Don't be afraid to constructively critisize your drawing. Our artists have open minds and are always glad to hear feedback, whether it be good or bad.

..What if I am not satisfied with the work in progress?

.....Perhaps your portrait does not look exactly the way you imagined. No need to panic... most of our drawings may appear distorted when in progress. We are just sending you an image to confirm your approval of the direction we are headed with your drawing before it is completed. If you have any suggestions feel free to make them and we can make changes for you. If you are unsatisfied and would like to cancel the drawing we will stop at your request and your 10% deposit will be refunded.

..What if I am not satisfied with the work completed?

.....If you are not satisfied with the images of the drawing upon completion we can cancel your order at your request. Compensation for the completion of your drawing will not be required and your 10% deposit will be refunded to you. We value our customers and the quality of our work and will never charge for works that you do not desire.
